Verifying the Installation
Follow these steps to verify the installation:
Login to the box via console port connected at a baud rate of 115200 using these credentials.
password: versa123
login: admin
Run the cli command and press enter.
Run the show interface brief | tab | nomore CLI command to check the status of the interfaces associated with it.
Run the show system package-info CLI command to check the system package details.
Run the show system details CLI command to check the software and hardware details.
Run the show system status CLI command to check the status of the system.
Run the show system trial-info CLI command to check the license details.
Run the show coredumps CLI command to check the core dumps.
Run the exit CLI command to exit from cli mode.
Run the vsh status bash command to check the running status of the device.
Run the vsh connect vsmd bash command to check the connectivity.
Run the show vsm global settings bash command to verify the chassis module.
Installing the Default Configuration
Follow these steps to install the default configuration when the validation steps described earlier did not appear:
Run the cli command in the SSL.
Run the config CLI command to enter configuration mode.
Run the load merge/opt/versa/etc/bootcfg/default-device.cfg CLI command.
Run the commit CLI command.
To complete the installation process repeat the steps mentioned under Verifying the Installation.
