This article describes how to complete the basic Versa Director configuration with an example.

Please refer to the reference deployment architecture here

Prerequisite : Create a new Virtual Machines and load them with Versa-SDWAN Software

Once VM is created, configure the Management IP on ETH0 interface

The  default Console login and password for Versa Director is

Username: admin

Password :versa123

And we should be able to SSH to Director’s Management IP

Step 1 : Go to the Path   /opt/versa/vnms/scripts/

  cd  /opt/versa/vnms/scripts/

Step 2 : Login to the Versa Director via SSH to its Management IP and execute the script “vnms-startup.sh “

And as per the setup we need to configure two interfaces on the Versa Director eth0 for Management, and eth1 to connect to the Versa Network .

Once the Interfaces are configured with IP’s make sure we can ping from Versa Director to Versa Controller and Versa Analytics before we go for the Versa-SDWAN installation from Versa Director GUI

10.192.78.171 : It is Northbound IP address of Director

172.16.1.1 : It is Southbound IP address of  Director

Step 3 : Now you will be able to access Director GUI

Try to open in GUI

https://10.192.78.171/versa/login   (10.192.78.172:It is northbound IP of Director)

Use the Default Credentials to login

Username : Administrator

Password : versa123
