This article describes How to Upgrade the Versa FlexVNF CPE using Versa Director

 

Prerequisite:The device is already deployed on Versa Director.

 

Configuration

  1. In the director, navigate to Administration > Inventory > Image
  2. Click on + in the right-hand pane and window will popped up 

 

  1. Enter the Package Name, select the Product Type
    URL :    Specify the URL to download the build from
    Upload :  Browse and provide the build path
  2. Click OK

 

 

  1. Upload progress will be shown on the Versa Director GUI
  2. Once the file upload completes, File Upload Complete message appears on Versa Director GUI. 

 

 

  1. Click on the Task menu on the top right side on the Screen and see the progress.

 

 

 

 

  1. You can view the uploaded package under Administration > Inventory > Image

 

 

  1. In the Versa Director, navigate to Administration > Appliances and select the branch for which upgrade needs to be performed
  2. Click on the highlighted Upgrade Selected Appliances option in the right hand pane 

 

 

  1. On the pop-up window select the Package Name from the drop down menu and click OK

 

 

  1. You can view the Progress in the Task Menu

 

 

  1. You can verify the upgrade status by looking in the task menu for Activity as Upgrade-Appliance
