For this exercise, we have created a dummy workflow template like this for easy replication of the vni to a tvi based virtual interface. The same steps from Step-3, can we referred in case we need to create WAN interface for a Controller or Service-VNF.

TVI-based WAN interface is a tunnel virtual interface which can be used when two or more physical interfaces are attached to the same transport virtual router. It manages two or more physical interfaces as a single WAN interface in the SD-WAN overlay network.

1) Create/Deploy a workflow template with a regular vni interface.

2) Go to Configuration > Org: <Tenant-Name> > Templates > Device Templates and choose the Device template.

3) Create a TVI interface using the reference snippet shared below.

4) Add the newly created TVI interface to Traffic Identification under Limits.

5) Add the TVI interface to a zone. You can either add it to the exisiting WAN Interface zone to make it easier like reference to Firewalls/CGNAT will automatically be taken care.

6) Refer the TVI interface to be a part of the WAN Routing-Instance.

7) Either refer the exisiting policy to be re-used for the TVI based WAN interface, or clone it to add a meaning name like SLAN_Policy_TVI_0/2001.0.

8) Under the Site configuration, please select the TVI interface and if needed, delete the existing VNI interface which gets created as a part of the Workflow template.

9) Ensure that the "Transport Domain" is included in the Site Configuration to establish SLA with Remote sites.
