This document contains the configuration to make un-supported SFP support in Arista switches.

Command to make support of un-supported SFP:

service unsupported-transceiver <licensee_name> <license_key>

Example:

To configure on Arista A7280 switch:

A7280TR-FMT(config)#service unsupported-transceiver Versa 0a5fb7ab

To Verify the running configuration:

A7280TR-FMT-10-44-107-1#show run | i unsupported
service unsupported-transceiver Versa 0a5fb7ab

Please Note: Switch reboot is required after the configuration.
