This article explains the various menu options available during the ISO installation of VOS (Versa FlexVNF) on Versa CSG and certified Whitebox appliances using USB.


Different devices require different minimum VOS versions. Please refer to the VOS support matrix for CSGs and Whiteboxes

Different devices have different display options (VGA/KVM/Serial), boot mode options, and methods for BIOS setup and boot order. Please select the installer menu item based on the device model and boot mode, as described below.  


Note: The actual installer menu may have fewer items or more items depending on the VOS version/build. The below options are from VOS version 22.1.4+.

      Use the ^ and v keys to select which entry is highlighted.

      Press enter to boot the selected OS, `e' to edit the commands

      before booting or `c' for a command-line. ESC to return previous

      menu.
