Issue
SLA is not being established between Versa SD-WAN branch devices when using Cradlepoint as the WAN connectivity.
Environment
Versa SD-WAN
Cradlepoint modem/router configured as the WAN gateway
Cause
This issue may occur if the Cradlepoint device is not properly configured in passthrough mode or NAT mode , which is required for SLA to be up between Versa branch devices.
Resolution
Versa SD-WAN requires the Cradlepoint device to operate in passthrough mode for SLA to function correctly. It may also work with NAT mode if configured correctly.
To resolve this issue:
Review the attached Cradlepoint golden configuration, which has been verified to work with Versa SD-WAN deployments.
Compare the golden configuration with your current Cradlepoint settings.
Update your Cradlepoint configuration to match the golden configuration if any discrepancies are found.
Note: The golden configuration is designed specifically for passthrough mode operation and should be used as a reference to validate or correct your setup.
