It's mandatory to ensure that the console cable used is the same  as the one provided in the link below to avoid discrepant issues 

We have see issues in the field when a converter is used, so please avoid using converters in the presence of the console cables (such as serial to usb converters or usb to serial converters) and use the cable mentioned in the link below (it's an Amazon link, you can use the same procure your cables)
