How to: Fix WMI agent when Connection Status is Faulted


*This KB is for demonstration purpose

*Tested on release 11.4.8 


In case the WMI agent is not connected to the VMS server and connection status shows Faulted.



This issue is typically observed when there is a misconfiguration in WMI agent related to VMS details such as *Tenant name. It is recommended to review WMI logs, which should provide more insight. 


Particularly the versa_wmi_agent_vms.log indicating 404 HTTPStatusCode.

Please correct the configuration followed by a Restart of WMI Service.

(WMI Agent > More > Troubleshooting > Restart Service)
