Unlocking the Versa Director User Account (WebUI)


Question:

How do I unlock a user account in the Versa Director UI login screen?

Solution:

You can unlock a user account using either CLI or GUI. 

CLI Configuration

Run the request nms actions unlock-user-by-admin username <username> CLI command to unlock the locked account from director CLI. Where <username> is the login name of the locked account.

Example:


Administrator@Director-1> request nms actions unlock-user-by-admin username guestresult


Result:


 {    status SUCCESS}

GUI Configuration

  1. Select  Administrator > User Management > Locked Users  to view all the locked users. 
  2. Select the user to be unlocked and click Unlock icon .
