Creating a General Template
Follow these configuration steps to create a general template:
- Login to the Versa Director.
- Select Versa Director > Administration > SD-WAN > Template and click + to add a template. This opens the Add Template window.
- Enter these details in the Add Template window.
Field Description Name Enter General as the new template name. Description Specify a brief description of the template and its purpose. Provider Org Select the provider organization for this template. Type Select General for the template type. Service Bandwidth Select service bandwidth for this template. Aggregate Bandwidth Select aggregate bandwidth for this template. Click OK to create a General Template.
Associating Service Template with General Template
Follow these steps to associate a service template with general template:
- Select Versa Director > Administration > SD-WAN and click General template in the dashboard (as created in the section above). This opens the Associate Service Template window.
- Click Service Templates tab to associate a service template for this general template.
- Enter these details in the Associate Service Template window:
Field Description Organization Select the Organization for this general template. Service Templates Select and associate a service template with the general template. - Click OK to associate the service template to the general template.
Associating General Template with a Non SD-WAN Device
Follow these steps to associate a general template with a non SDWAN device:
- Select Versa Director > Administration > Device Group and click General template in the dashboard (as created in the section above) to create a new device group. This opens the Add Device Group window.
- Click Appliance tab in the Add Device Group window and click + to add an appliance (device) to the group:
- Click OK to associate the General template with a non SD-WAN device.
