The document will help you fix the appliance stuck in the staging

If you are onboarding 16.1R2 appliance or any appliance version on 21.x or 22.x and noticed you ran into the below error on the task where the Create Appliance task fails after 30% with the below error, please follow the mentioned steps to overcome

Step 1: Check if the appliance got created in the task and shows reachable using staging IP

Step 2: Check if you notice appliance like history shows IKE Done for the staging VPN profile

Command:

admin@Branch-03-cli> show orgs org-services Provider ipsec vpn-profile branch ike history

Step 3: Run the following commands on the Director to push the keys to the appliance

Commands:
Administrator@Director> request devices device <appliance-name> ssh fetch-host-keys
[Administrator@ Director: ~] $ /opt/versa/vnms/scripts/push_keys_to_device.sh <appliance-management-IP> versa123
Administrator@ Director > request devices device <appliance-name> disconnect
Administrator@ Director > request devices device <appliance-name> connect
Administrator@ Director > request devices device <appliance-name> netconf-notifications subscription voae_oam_subscr reconnect

Step 4: Clear ipsec sa towards controller from Branch using the following command, this will force trigger post-staging 

Command:

admin@Branch-03-cli> request clear ipsec sa vpn-profile branch org Provider

Step 5: Check the task on the Director and you will see the new task for Post-Staging going through

Step 6: Once the post-staging is pushed please check the appliance onboarding status and confirm
