This article describes how to suspend a subscription for the CPE device.
Prerequisite
- The device is already onboarded on Versa Director.
- The subscription should be activated for the device.
Configuration
- In the Versa Director, navigate to Administration > Appliances and select the Branch for which subscription needs to be Suspended.
Please Note
- Suspend state allows the device to be in the unused state.
- The subscription end-date is extended by the number of days the device remains in the suspended state.
- Total 30 days of suspension of existing subscription is allowed for one subscription period.
- We need to suspend the subscription manually
- Navigate to Administration > Entitlement
- Select the organization and click the highlighted option for Subscription Action.
- To suspend the subscription, select the Suspend option from the drop-down list of Subscription Action.
- Click OK to complete the configuration
- Once it is Suspended, the state will be shown as below.
- You can verify the Suspended subscription from the Versa Director by navigating to Administration->Entitlement Manager->Summary
Select the organization and Click on Summary.
RMA
In the case of RMA, the hardware is either repaired or replaced.
The faulty device is returned to the factory for the repair and the subscription is resumed on the day device is returned to the customer.
The faulty device is replaced with a new device and the old subscription is added to the new device.
Please select the RMA option from the drop-down list and click OK to complete the configuration.
