Versa got a few reports when customer after upgrade had issues with hardware ports on their SDWAN devices.


There are a couple of ways how it can be solved:

  • Check if power cycle solves the issue
  • Connect ports back to back (for example vni-0/4 to vni-0/5 and see if the link comes up OK)
  • Stop the versa services and see if the link comes up OK with linux (after admin up). If the port comes up - open TAC case with Versa.
  • Make sure you upgraded OSSPack to the latest version
  • On some platforms you may also need to upgrade NVM firmware.
