Issue Summary
If you have configured the SaaS Application Monitor with the option to export metrics to remote branches, you may encounter a bug in the following VOS versions:
VOS 21.2.3 from October 6th 2024 to March 25th, 2025
VOS 22.1.3 from December 3rd, 2024 to April 16th, 2025
Please note that VOS 22.1.4 is not affected by this issue.
Impact
This bug may cause SLA monitoring between branch sites to flap, potentially leading to traffic disruptions
Refer to the SaaS Application Monitor exporter configuration highlighted below
Solution
If you are using one of the affected VOS versions with the SaaS Application Monitor configured to export metrics to remote devices, it is recommended to upgrade to the latest VOS version, which includes the necessary fix.
If upgrading is not immediately possible, you can mitigate the issue by removing the export configuration from the SaaS Application Monitor. This can be done by deleting all entries under the "Export Organization" tab.
If remote sites are configured to route internet traffic through the Hub, removing the export configuration will prevent them from utilizing metrics sent by the Hubs. However, if the remote sites use local Direct Internet Access (DIA), or do not rely on Hub metrics for determining whether to use local versus Hub DIA for internet breakout, removing the "Export Organization" configuration will have no impact on their functionality.
